A brush fire ignited on Wednesday near Fountain Mesa Park in Fountain, Colorado, just east of Mesa Ridge High School, prompting a rapid response from the Fountain Fire Department (FFD).
The blaze, which measured approximately 50 feet wide and between 200 and 300 feet long, was brought under control within an hour of the initial 5 p.m. call, with no injuries reported, according to the FFD.
