Johnson County Accepts Homeland Security Grant

The Johnson County Commission has accepted a grant agreement with the Wyoming Department of Homeland Security. The grant, worth $65,000, will be used to purchase and install 7 or 8 mobile radios for the Sheriff’s Department.

Grant Details

The grant is part of the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) and requires no cost share from the county. The initial request was for $129,000 to purchase 15 radios with antenna installations to update the car radios.
