A solemn tribute will take place next week in Salem as Oregon honors firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Annual Ceremony
The Department of Public Safety Standards and Training and the Oregon Fire Service Honor Guard will host the annual Oregon Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial Ceremony on Tuesday, June 16th, at 1 p.m. at the Oregon Public Safety Academy in Salem.
The ceremony brings together families, firefighters, and elected officials to remember and honor fallen members of Oregon’s fire service.
The ceremony is open to the public.
