Country star Radney Foster has been forced to reschedule a string of shows after being hospitalized with a serious infection. His team took to social media to give fans an update on his health, stating that he is improving and has been released from the ICU, but his doctors have advised him to take time away from the road to focus on his health.
Radney Foster’s Music Career
Foster first gained recognition during the 1980s as part of the country duo Foster & Lloyd, which he formed with fellow songwriter Bill Lloyd. The pair were best known for singles including ‘Crazy Over You’ and ‘What Do You Want From Me This Time.’ When the band parted ways in 1990, Foster took on a solo career and produced several hits, including ‘Just Call Me Lonesome,’ ‘Nobody Wins,’ ‘Easier Said Than Done’ and ‘Hammer and Nails.’ Throughout his career, he has written songs recorded by artists including Keith Urban, Sara Evans, The Chicks, Brooks & Dunn and Jack Ingram, among many others.
Fans were quick to offer their support, with one user commenting, ‘Take good care of yourself, Radney! We need you, Dude!’ and another writing, ‘Sending all the healing vibes and prayers your way. Take care and get well soon.’ Foster is among a list of country stars who have recently canceled shows last minute due to illness, including LeAnn Rimes, who had to cancel a string of concerts to focus on her health in April.
