Residents of Shreveport and the surrounding ArkLaTex region are invited to participate in the annual Flag Giveaway, part of the Freedom Fest Series organized by KTBS 3 and local sponsors. This event honors Flag Day, celebrated on June 14, by distributing American flags to community members.

The Flag Giveaway begins on Monday, with flags available at various locations across the region. Participants are encouraged to proudly display their flags in memory of those who have served and sacrificed for the nation. The event underscores the importance of patriotism and community spirit.
