Details of the Pursuit

Cpl. Jeff Richardson, who was stationed on U.S. 167 just north of Misty Lane, observed a green dirt bike passing him on the right, traveling through the grass. The rider then continued southbound, moving onto the shoulder. When Richardson attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the dirt bike accelerated, crossed all lanes of traffic, and turned onto Misty Lane in a reckless manner.

The rider, described as a white male wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans, a ski mask, and a black cap, sped north on Misty Lane, reaching speeds of 74 mph in a 45 mph zone. The chase ended when the rider entered the property at 169 Misty Lane and continued into a wooded area, prompting the trooper to terminate the pursuit.
