IDEA Public Schools kicked off the school year with a historic milestone: the first senior class at its Horizon Vista College Prep campus.
A New Era for Horizon Vista
The campus, which first opened in 2020 with grades K-2 and 6th grade, has been adding a grade level each year. This year, the school welcomes its first 12th-grade class, marking a significant milestone in its growth.
To commemorate the senior class, the school hosted a ‘Senior Sunrise’ event with breakfast and music outside. The Class of 2027 will be the first to fulfill IDEA’s mission of going to and through college.
IDEA Public Schools welcomes back nearly 6,000 students for the upcoming 2026-27 school year at 10 schools across the El Paso area.
