Lakeside police and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services are searching for a couple after a joint investigation found that four children under the age of 10 tested positive for fentanyl.
Investigation Details
Police said investigators are looking to question Auston Patrick Green and Cindy Cristina Chevez Batres. The pair face multiple counts of child endangerment, according to authorities.
Lakeside police have not said what prompted the original investigation. Anyone who has contact with Green or Chevez Batres, or knows where they may be, is asked to contact Lakeside police.
