The City of Casper recently announced that it is experiencing a technical issue affecting inbound phone calls to city departments and facilities.
A release from the City says that the issue is not affecting dispatch or emergency services. Residents should continue to call 911 in the event of an emergency, or 307-235-8278 for non-emergency, police, water and sewer response.
For general government non-emergency matters during this time, residents are encouraged to visit www.casperwy.gov for online services.
City staff are actively working with the phone carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
“The City of Casper thanks residents for their patience and understanding during this temporary disruption,” the release states.
