Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Xi Tau Chapter commemorated a powerful homecoming at Georgia Southern University on Saturday, July 11, 2026, as brothers, alumni, and community members gathered to celebrate the chapter’s 46th Chartering Anniversary.
Community Service and Fellowship
The milestone event honored the enduring legacy of Xi Tau Chapter through fellowship, reflection, and service— hallmarks of Alpha Phi Alpha’s mission of “Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind.” The celebration brought together generations of brothers whose commitment continues to uplift both campus and community.
Serving as co-chairmen for the anniversary celebration were Brother Adrian Goolsby and Brother Dr. Thaddeus L. Shubert, whose leadership helped orchestrate a meaningful and impactful weekend of activities.
The culminating highlight of the celebration was a community-centered hygiene drive benefiting the residents of the Heritage Inn Rehabilitation Center in Statesboro, Georgia. Brothers of Xi Tau Chapter, alongside supporters, donated essential hygiene items to promote dignity, health, and well-being among the facility’s residents.
