Video from the game shows Alexander driving to the basket before stumbling and falling to the floor. He was clearly in significant pain and had to be carried out on a stretcher.
The Utah Jazz said after the game that Alexander “suffered a rib injury.” On Tuesday night, the team shared positive news, saying the 23-year-old “appears he’s going to be OK” and expressing hope that he will be ready for training camp in October.
