Oklahoma tattoo artists are coming together to support Rodrigo Hernandez, a fellow artist whose 3-year-old daughter, Sophia, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma.
Community Support
The diagnosis has been life-changing for the family, and the tattoo community has organized a flash tattoo fundraiser to help Hernandez focus on Sophia without the added stress of financial concerns.
Sarah Lewis, owner of Krybabys Tattoo Studio, said, ‘Our job is hard, it’s a cash service industry job, so we want to create a way to take that financial burden away from them and just let them focus on what really matters, which is Sophia.’
On July 19, all four Krybabys Tattoo Studio locations will participate in the flash tattoo fundraiser, with all proceeds going to Sophia and her family.
For those who prefer not to get a tattoo, donations can also be made through the family’s GoFundMe page.
