Galleria Dallas has teamed up with the Dallas-based nonprofit Catch Up & Read to offer story times throughout the month of July. The story times at the mall are Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
Featured Authors and Activities
On Wednesdays, Storytimes will feature local children’s authors, including Jenn Hill, Kenna Sosa, Rosie J. Pova, Erica Asante, and Ha Dinh, followed by a special pop-up activity inspired by the featured author and their book, hosted by Camp Crafty. Friday readings will be led by literacy coaches. All readings will take place on Level 3 near The Play Place.
Catch Up & Read also provides a family toolkit on their website to help families continue reading at home, making it fun and effective while students are out of school for the summer.
