Construction is underway on McKinney National Airport’s new passenger terminal, with Avelo Airlines set to begin service on November 11. The airport, previously known as general aviation airport TKI, is now referred to as DTX, according to Ken Carley, aviation director.
Carley noted that while TKI remains the airport’s FAA three-letter code, the International Air Transport Association assigned DTX as the code after Avelo applied.
