The Soundwave NM music festival will return to the New Mexico State Fair this September. The festival will take place at the Chevron Pavilion and is included with admission. Organizers say the event builds on the fair’s longstanding tradition of promoting New Mexico musicians by bringing together six acts for a full day of live performances.
Festival Lineup
Performances will begin at 11 a.m., with artists taking the stage consecutively throughout the day. The lineup includes: Edward Brewer, JD Nash & The Rash of Cash, Clarq, The Backlash, Russian Girlfriends, and Metalachi.
The festival debuted in 2025 and returns this year as one of the featured entertainment events during the State Fair, offering fairgoers a chance to experience a variety of New Mexico-based artists in a festival-style setting without purchasing a separate concert ticket.
The 2026 New Mexico State Fair is scheduled to run Sept. 10-20 at Expo New Mexico in Albuquerque.
