Paul Pelosi, the husband of former U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi, is facing a misdemeanor hit-and-run charge after a vehicle he was driving struck a parked car in California.
According to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred on Friday afternoon in Yountville and caused major damage to the parked vehicle. Deputies later determined that Pelosi drove the vehicle that caused the collision. He stated that he hit something but did not know what he had hit, so he continued driving until his car became disabled.
No alcohol was detected when Pelosi was tested. He was not arrested, which is common for this type of offense.
