The Cincinnati Zoo is offering free admission to all active and retired military personnel on July 4, as the zoo recognizes their service and sacrifice. Military personnel who qualify for the free admission ticket offer include active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with an honorable or medical discharge, and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps members with government-issued identification.
Patriotic Gardens and Displays
The zoo has also created patriotic gardens and displays, featuring red, white, and blue flowers, to celebrate the United States’ 250th birthday. The gardens highlight plants and animals that live in the U.S. and aim to inspire guests to appreciate and protect the natural treasures that make America unique.
Military personnel can also purchase up to six half-price admission tickets for immediate family members. Guests with discounted tickets must enter with the military member who is eligible for free admission. The zoo opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
