The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers opened their series against the Peoria Chiefs with a 5-4 win on Tuesday night at Dozer Park. Braylon Payne hit a two-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to give the Timber Rattlers the lead.

Tayden Hall scored from third on an infield single by Tyler Rodriguez in the top of the second inning to give the Timber Rattlers a 1-0 lead. Hall then hit a two-run home run to right field in the third inning to put the Timber Rattlers up 3-0.
The Peoria Chiefs stormed back to take the lead with four runs in the bottom of the third inning. However, the Timber Rattlers didn’t trail for long, as Payne’s two-run home run in the fourth inning put them back on top.
The Timber Rattlers’ pitching staff held on to the lead, with Quinton Low earning his first save of the season by striking out the final two batters of the game.
