A man has been taken into custody after a hours-long standoff at a Millvale home, prompting an overnight SWAT response. The incident occurred at a home at the corner of Beekman Street and Moosewood Avenue. Another person inside the home was able to exit on their own.
According to Cincinnati police, the man had prior warrants for his arrest. The situation ended without injury when the man exited the home and was taken into custody around 4 a.m.
The cause of the standoff is still unclear, and it is unknown what new charges the man will face.
