Olathe Hosts World Cup Watch Party

Olathe residents and soccer fans gathered in Downtown Olathe on Friday, June 26, for a special World Cup edition of Fourth Fridays.

Hosted by the Olathe Chamber of Commerce, the event broadcast France’s win over Norway and Spain’s victory against Uruguay. Live music, games, and a mini-carnival also kept visitors entertained throughout the all-day event.

Friday was one of many World Cup watch parties and celebrations across Johnson County since the tournament began on June 11.
