Xia Brookside has won the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) Knockouts World Championship, defeating Léi Yǐng Lee at Slammiversary.

Match Details

The match was a culmination of the former friends turned bitter rivals’ pursuit of the championship. Lee set the pace early, using her agility and quickness to gain the upper hand. However, Brookside was able to get back into the match after pushing Lee into the ring post, injuring her left knee.

Brookside then targeted Lee’s knee, finding an opening to do some damage. The two competitors engaged in a series of submission holds and counterattacks, with Brookside eventually gaining the upper hand. She powerbombed Lee from the turnbuckle and exposed the rope, knocking Lee off the top rope and into the exposed area. Brookside then hit a Darkside and pinned Lee to win the championship.
