A man was killed early Sunday morning after being hit by two separate vehicles on Bardstown Road in Louisville. According to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), the incident occurred just before 5 a.m. in the 4500 block of Bardstown Road.
Police said the man was trying to cross the road outside of a crosswalk when he was first hit by a vehicle traveling southbound. The driver of that vehicle did not stop and continued on. A second vehicle also hit the man, but the driver of that car stopped at the scene and called 911. The man died at the scene from his injuries.
