As the United States marks its 250th anniversary of independence, Wyoming communities are gearing up for July 4th celebrations. The Cowboy State will host various events, parades, and fireworks displays across the state.
Cheyenne Celebrations
Cheyenne, the state capital, will kick off its celebrations with a patriotic parade at 9:00 AM, followed by food trucks and family activities at the Capitol Complex. A ceremony with a flyover will take place at 1:00 PM, and the finale will feature fireworks at 9:45 PM, with the best viewing at Lions Park.
Jackson Hole and Teton Village
Jackson Hole and Teton Village will also host a range of events, including a parade, live music, and a rodeo. The ‘Red, White & Tunes’ event in Teton Village will feature free concerts from July 3-5. Fireworks displays will take place at 10:00 PM at both Snow King Mountain and Teton Village.
Other Celebrations
Other major celebrations will take place in Laramie, Gillette, Casper, and Devils Tower. Laramie’s ‘Freedom Has a Birthday’ event will be held at Washington Park, featuring fireworks at 10:00 PM. Gillette will host a 4th of July Celebration with a parade, 4-mile run, and fireworks. Casper will have fireworks at the Ford Wyoming Center, while Devils Tower will feature fireworks with the monument as a backdrop, accompanied by music and food.
