A group of American nuns, the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, based in Germantown, New York, have shown their support for the Scotland national team in the World Cup by learning Scottish chants.

The nuns, who were founded by Venerable Mother Angeline, who was raised in Scotland, waved Scottish flags and sang along to classics including ‘No Scotland, No Party’ and ‘We’ll Be Coming’ in a video shared online.
John Mallon, co-founder of the Catholic production company Sancta Familia Media, has been staying in the convent and taught the nuns how to sing the songs. The nuns are invested in the World Cup and know all the scores, according to Mallon.
