The 90th Ozark Empire Fair is set to take place from July 30 to August 8 in north Springfield. This year’s fair will feature a variety of attractions, including live music, the Radatz magic show, an exotic petting zoo, and pig races.
Attractions and Events
The Ozark Empire Fairgrounds E*Plex will host over 65 vendors showcasing local craftsmanship and Missouri-made products. The fair will also offer a range of food options, including funnel cakes, jugs of root beer, and new additions like the Louisiana Bayou Food Truck and Big Dave’s Smoked Turkey Legs.
Grandstand events will include live music performances, monster trucks, and freestyle bullfighting. Tickets for these events can be purchased in advance at a discounted price. The grandstand events schedule includes Sawyer Brown with Stephen Paul on July 31, The O’Reilly Outlaw Nationals Monster Truck show on August 1, and Hardee’s Xtreme Bull Fighting on August 7.
Admission and Parking
On-site parking will be $5, and tickets for admission, grandstand events, and super passes can be purchased on the fair’s website. Adult general admission will be $12 in advance or $17 during the fair, while child general admission will be $3.50 in advance or $5.50 during the fair. Admission is free for children under 6 and adults over 80.
The fair will open at 4 p.m. on July 30 and at 11 a.m. for each subsequent day, closing at 11 p.m. every night. Special discounted days include a free admission day on July 30, $3 Day on August 3, Service Day on August 4, Military Day on August 5, and College Day on August 6.
