Four people were wounded in a mass shooting in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood Saturday night, according to police. The four people were standing on the sidewalk around 7:15 p.m. Saturday in the 8500 block of South Sangamon Street when a car pulled up and multiple people inside the car opened fire, police said.
A 43-year-old man was struck in his left leg and was taken to University of Chicago Hospital in critical condition. A man of unknown age was shot in his abdomen and taken to Christ Hospital in critical condition. A 34-year-old man was shot in his right leg and a 32-year-old woman was grazed by a bullet in her left arm. They both declined medical attention, according to police.
No arrests have been made as police continue to investigate.
