Police announced Sunday that a 15‑year‑old male suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred Saturday near Florida A&M University’s Bragg Memorial Stadium, a location that draws students and community members from across the state, including many Miami families with relatives attending the university.
According to NBC Miami, Tallahassee Police reported the incident took place at the intersection of Perry and Manatee streets. The gunfire injured 12 individuals, several of whom were minors. Law enforcement officials said the victims did not appear to be the intended targets of the shooter.
