A shooting at a bar in Put-in-Bay, Ohio, has left one person dead, according to the Put-in-Bay Police Department. Officers were called to Mr. Ed’s Bar & Grille shortly after midnight for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a 39-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving measures, the man died from his injuries. No other people were injured.
A search for a suspect ensued, with multiple agencies assisting, including the Ottawa County Major Crimes Unit and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation. At around 3:40 a.m., police said a suspect was taken into custody by members of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation is being handled by the Ottawa County Major Crimes Unit and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
