A rare hybrid animal was born at Wright Farms in Eminence, Kentucky. The zebra-donkey hybrid, also known as a ‘zedonk,’ was born on July 27. The zedonk, named Ella, is the first one ever born at Wright Farms.
Ella’s mother is a zebra and her father is a donkey. The gestation period for Ella’s birth was 13 months. Daniel Wright, the owner of Wright Farms, expressed his excitement about the birth of Ella, stating that it was ‘extremely exciting.’
Visitors can see Ella and her mother at the farm, which is also a place to buy produce. Wright Farms is located at 2580 South Property in Eminence, Kentucky.
