Yorkville America, the firm that manages the President Donald Trump Truth Social exchange‑traded funds, is moving beyond its politically branded offerings. Chief Executive Officer Steve Neamtz told Reuters the company is in the final stages of acquiring an institutional asset‑management firm that specializes in separately managed accounts. The deal, expected to close in September, is intended to serve as a cornerstone of Yorkville’s strategic growth.
Broadening the product range
Since joining Yorkville in December 2025, Neamtz has emphasized expanding the firm’s focus beyond the America First‑themed ETFs that first put it on the map. The acquisition will give Yorkville access to a broader client base and additional expertise in customized portfolio management, allowing the firm to offer a wider variety of investment products.
New AI‑focused ETF debut
On Monday, Yorkville launched the MANGOS Plus Index ETF, its first fund listed outside the Truth Social brand. The ETF will trade on both the New York Stock Exchange and the newly created NYSE Texas division. It tracks an index of leading artificial‑intelligence companies, including Meta, Anthropic, Nvidia, Alphabet, OpenAI and SpaceX, as well as other AI‑related stocks such as Micron and SanDisk.
To provide exposure to the two pre‑IPO AI firms Anthropic and OpenAI, the fund will use perpetual futures contracts—derivatives that mirror the price of an asset without an expiration date. Neamtz described this as the inaugural launch in Yorkville’s “digital and crypto” product category.
Future fund pipeline
Yorkville has filed to introduce roughly a dozen additional ETFs in the coming weeks and months. The pending offerings span the digital economy, macro‑strategy funds, and other sector‑focused products. Existing Yorkville funds already cover energy, defense, real estate and companies with iconic consumer brands.
The expansion reflects a broader trend of newer asset managers entering the ETF market with diversified product lines rather than concentrating on niche or leveraged strategies. By adding AI‑centric and digital‑economy funds, Yorkville aims to attract investors seeking exposure to high‑growth technology themes while maintaining a disciplined, institutional‑grade approach.
Implications for investors
For individual investors, the move promises more choices beyond the politically branded funds that have dominated Yorkville’s portfolio. The inclusion of AI leaders and the use of perpetual futures may appeal to those looking for cutting‑edge exposure without the complexities of direct private‑equity investments.
Industry observers note that the acquisition and product rollout could position Yorkville as a more competitive player among established ETF providers, especially as demand for technology‑focused funds continues to rise.
