Xander Schauffele Ready For Travelers Championship

Xander Schauffele, the 2022 Travelers winner, is looking forward to playing in the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. The PGA Tour event is known for being a player-favorite, with a course that is quite the opposite of the challenging Shinnecock Hills.

Course Changes

The course has been made a bit tougher, with narrower spots and grown rough in certain areas. Schauffele likes the changes, saying they make the course more fun and challenging. He also appreciates the behind-the-scenes aspects of the event, including the food, coffee, and gifts for players and their wives.

Schauffele will be paired with Collin Morikawa at 10:55 a.m. ET on Thursday. The Travelers Championship is expected to have lower scores than last year, with Keegan Bradley winning at -15 in 2023.
