KTWO, Wyoming’s first radio station, has been on the air for 96 years, providing news, entertainment, and community updates to the people of Wyoming. The station, originally known as KDFN, first began broadcasting on January 2, 1930, at 1470 kHz on the AM dial in Casper, Wyoming.

Over the years, the station has undergone several changes, including a change in call letters to KTWO in 1930 and a move to 1030 AM in 1967. Today, KTWO is owned by Townsquare Media and has one of the most powerful signals in the state, covering most of Wyoming during daylight hours and reaching the western United States at night.

KTWO has adapted to the changing media landscape, offering video, websites, online streaming, and podcasting in addition to its traditional radio broadcasting. The station is also home to Wake Up Wyoming, a statewide morning talk show hosted by Glenn Woods, which allows listeners to engage with the host and share their thoughts and opinions through the Wake Up Wyoming App.
