A shooting incident last month involving Sergeant Zach Burns of the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office has left the community in shock. However, in the face of adversity, the people of Wyoming are rallying around the injured deputy to show their support.
Community Support
Several local businesses, including Bartlett Oilfield, Fritz Welding and Machine, F&S Trucking, Brian Locke Trucking, Ready Livestock, Ready Oilfield Services, Wyoming Diesel Services, and Elevated Health and Safety Solutions, have come together to help Sergeant Burns and his family. They have donated a 2023 CanAm Commander Side by Side to be raffled off, with all proceeds going towards the deputy’s recovery.
Raffle tickets are available for purchase at $25 each or 5 for $100. The community is encouraged to participate and show their support for Sergeant Burns and his family during this challenging time.
Carbon County Sheriff Alex Bakken recently provided an update on Sergeant Burns’ condition, stating that he is making progress and has been able to spend time with his family. The community’s support and prayers are appreciated as Sergeant Burns continues his recovery.
