The WYO Rodeo Parade is a highly anticipated event in Sheridan, Wyoming. New Parade Chairman Laura Dalles recently spoke about the planning process, which begins months in advance.
Planning the Parade
Dalles explained that planning for the parade is an ongoing process. She stated, ‘We’re looking at next year’s, we’re looking like people are asking, oh, you got the hundred coming pretty soon. What are you doing? It’s like, you know, we’re got what we got going now. We’re gonna look at how we can make it great and awesome and what needs fixed, what need doesn’t.’ The theme for this year’s parade was ‘Star Spangled WYO’.
