A woman was killed Wednesday afternoon in a crash on a New Hampshire highway. State police responded around 4:30 p.m. to a three-vehicle crash on the F.E. Everett Turnpike northbound in Nashua.
Investigators found that a Honda CRV driven by 69-year-old Theresa Douville of Hooksett didn’t slow down as she approached traffic stopped in front of her, hitting an Infiniti QX60, which was then sent into another Infiniti QX60.
Douville, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The drivers of the two Infinitis and children in each vehicle were evaluated at hospitals as a precaution.
New Hampshire State Police said three northbound lanes were closed to traffic for about an hour after the crash. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 603-738-7260.
