Former NBA Player Weighs In

Royce White, a former NBA player who plans to declare for the 2027 WNBA Draft, says the league’s lack of clarity on the policy is a sign of the times. White appeared on Fox News Channel’s ‘Fox & Friends Weekend’ and expressed his thoughts on the matter.

‘The WNBA is an example of a herald of us losing a lot of things in this country,’ White said. ‘We have to secure our elections, we have to restart the mass deportations, we have to start arresting some of these Deep Staters…’

White’s comments come as the WNBA is facing questions about its policy on transgender athletes. The league’s commissioner, Cathy Engelbert, sent a letter to teams addressing concerns over the inclusion of transgender athletes in the league.

Engelbert called the debate ‘nuanced’ and said the league will continue to have important conversations with teams and the Players Association in the weeks and months ahead.
