Recent Incidents
Just four days later, Carrington was involved in two more incidents where she hit opponents in the face. During a game against the Golden State Valkyries, Carrington swiped at the ball and caught Cecilia Zandalasini in the eye. Later in the game, she threw her arm down and caught Tiffany Hayes in the mouth while attempting to block a layup.
Neither of the incidents against the Valkyries resulted in flagrant or technical fouls, but Carrington did receive a technical foul for arguing with a referee during the third quarter. Carrington has previously stated that she is not a dirty player and that she plays hard but fair.
