WIT Gallery Celebrates Five Years

WIT Gallery, located in Columbus, Ohio, is celebrating its five-year anniversary. The gallery was founded by Larry Robertson, who wanted to create a space for local artists, particularly Black and Brown artists, to showcase their work and provide resources for the community.

Community Focus

Robertson’s vision for the gallery was to provide a space where artists could come together, learn from each other, and showcase their work. The gallery has hosted numerous exhibitions and events, featuring local artists such as Cameron Granger, Alek Shabazz, and Ian N. Njau.

The gallery’s focus on community is reflected in its mission to provide a space for artists to grow and develop. Robertson believes that there is still a need for spaces like WIT Gallery, which can provide resources and support for local artists.

Future Plans

As WIT Gallery looks to the future, Robertson hopes to continue to grow and expand the gallery’s reach. He plans to bring in national and global artists to exhibit at the gallery and to provide more resources and support for local artists.
