The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers defeated the Beloit Sky Carp 6-4. Wande Torres made his third straight outstanding start, leaving the game with a 2-0 lead after seven innings. The Beloit Sky Carp tied the game in the eighth, but the Timber Rattlers took the lead back in the bottom of the eighth.

The Timber Rattlers took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the fifth. Luis Peña started the rally with a one-out double. Eric Bitonti drove in Peña with another double. Marco Dinges followed with an RBI single for the 2-0 lead.
Torres allowed one hit, walked none, and struck out eight over seven innings. The only other base runner he allowed was on an error he made on a throw to first.
In the eighth inning, the Beloit Sky Carp rallied to tie the game. However, the Timber Rattlers took the lead back with a four-run bottom of the eighth. Yannic Walter started the rally with a double to the corner in left. Braylon Payne singled to center to score Walter with the go-ahead run.
Daniel Dickinson greeted Juan Reynoso to the mound with his fourth home run of the season, giving the Timber Rattlers a 6-2 lead. The Sky Carp loaded the bases in the ninth, but the Timber Rattlers held on for the win.
