Very warm and dry conditions will continue for the next several days in Oregon, thanks to a large ridge of high pressure over the central United States that is blocking moisture from reaching the region.
Wildfire Update
Several large wildfires remain active across the region, bringing continued smoke, travel restrictions, and evacuation notices for some communities. Dense wildfire smoke continues to blanket much of Eastern Oregon.
Highs will return to the upper 80s today under mostly sunny skies. Winds will remain light and variable, with similar conditions expected Wednesday. Overnight lows will cool into the 40s and 50s under partly cloudy skies.
Temperatures will climb into the low to mid 90s Thursday through Saturday. Highs will then ease back into the mid 80s Sunday and Monday under sunny skies. No measurable precipitation is expected through the weekend.
