Fire crews are responding to a reported wildfire in Torrance County in the Manzano Mountains. According to officials with Torrance County, crews are fighting a wildfire near the community of Tajique.
Officials say homes are threatened in the fire. The size of the fire is unknown at this time. The Torrance County Sheriff’s Office is advising drivers to avoid Highway 55 near mile marker 84 as rescue crews arrive to fight the fire.
