A wildfire has broken out in the Big Piney Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest, according to the U.S. Forest Service. The fire, dubbed the “Bare Fire”, is located north of Bare Pass and east of Bare Creek.
Firefighting Efforts
Teton Interagency Fire engines and firefighting staff, as well as Sublette County resources, are on the scene of the fire. Air attack, two Type-3 helicopters, smokejumpers, and a 10-person fire module and fire engine have been ordered to help suppress the fire.
