West Alabama TV viewers are experiencing changes in their local programming. Channel 42, now known as Alabama’s 42, is no longer the CBS affiliate for Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. Instead, it will offer more local news and weather coverage, including a morning news block, a noon newscast, and evening news blocks.
