Afternoon temperatures are expected to rise in northwest Arkansas and the River Valley. Warm westerly winds will help afternoon highs to move into the mid-80s in northwest Arkansas, while highs in the River Valley will be close to 90 degrees.
According to the 40/29 Get Ready Weather Team, the first part of the day will be gorgeous with sunny to partly cloudy skies early on and numbers in the 60s and 70s. However, with some sunshine, it’s going to be a fast warm-up, with lunchtime temperatures close to 80 degrees in northwest Arkansas and plenty of low 80s in the River Valley.
