GREEN BAY, Wis. – Vivent Health cut the ribbon on its newly renovated clinic at 417 S. Monroe Avenue on Wednesday morning, marking a major step forward in integrated health care for the city.
Renovation expands space and services
The $1.6 million renovation more than doubles the clinic’s usable area, bringing the total to 5,486 square feet. The expanded facility now accommodates a 13‑member staff and serves 484 patients and clients, offering a comprehensive suite of services under one roof.
In addition to primary medical care, the clinic provides HIV testing and treatment, behavioral health counseling, and preventive services such as PrEP, STI and hepatitis C testing, and harm‑reduction supplies. Case management, food and nutrition assistance, housing support, and legal aid are also available, reflecting Vivent Health’s commitment to addressing the whole person.
Leadership emphasizes community focus
“We’re here for every patient, no matter what their needs are, and we work together as a team in our walls here to address those needs and make sure people live long and healthy lives,” said Vivent Health President and CEO Brandon Hill at the opening ceremony.
Hill noted that Wisconsin is home to roughly 7,500 individuals living with HIV, with an estimated 1,200 unaware of their status. By offering testing, treatment, and education in a single location, Vivent Health aims to close that gap and improve health outcomes across the region.
Statewide impact
Vivent Health operates multiple sites throughout Wisconsin and is among the largest providers of HIV care and prevention in the state. The Green Bay clinic’s expansion reinforces the organization’s broader mission to deliver integrated, compassionate care to vulnerable populations.
Local officials and community partners praised the renovation, highlighting its potential to reduce health disparities and strengthen the social safety net for residents who need comprehensive support.
Looking ahead
With the new space now open, Vivent Health plans to continue expanding outreach, partnering with local churches, schools, and civic groups to raise awareness about HIV prevention and the importance of holistic health services. The clinic’s integrated model serves as a blueprint for other communities seeking to combine medical care with essential social services.
