The University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension is hosting a cattle feeders field day on August 4 in Menomonie, Wisconsin. This hands-on educational event will bring together regional educators and specialists to address timely, real-world topics for producers of all sizes.
Program Highlights
Attendees will gain insights into key areas of cattle feeding management. The Jensen family will provide an overview of their farming operation and lead a tour of their new mono-slope cattle feeding facility.
The event is designed for producers finishing beef or dairy breed cattle, as well as individuals from allied agricultural industries seeking to improve operational efficiency and animal performance.
Registration begins at 5:45 p.m., with the program starting at 6:00 p.m. Participants are encouraged to register by July 31, 2026, by calling the Dunn County Extension office or by registering online.
