Music is in the air in Tyler this week as the University of Texas at Tyler hosts its 9th annual Jazz Camp, welcoming young musicians to campus for an immersive experience in America’s homegrown art form.
The camp, covered by both CBS19 and KETK, brings student musicians together to sharpen their skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. Now in its ninth year, the Jazz Camp has become a beloved summer tradition at UT Tyler, giving East Texas youth a chance to grow as performers and deepen their appreciation for jazz.
