A buckle in the highway has prompted the temporary closure of U.S. Highway 171 in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana. The DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that the damage initially closed the southbound lanes, but it has since affected the northbound lanes as well.
Motorists will need to find alternative routes until repairs are completed.
