United Supermarkets is kicking off its annual school supply drive, now in its 15th year, to help local students across the South Plains start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
How to Donate
From July 13th through July 26th, shoppers can visit any United Supermarkets, Market Street, or Amigos location in Lubbock and donate right at the checkout register. There’s no minimum donation, and every little bit helps local students get the supplies they’ll need when classes begin.
Several area school districts are taking part in the kickoff event, including Lubbock ISD, Frenship ISD, Lubbock-Cooper ISD, Roosevelt ISD, Slaton ISD, and Shallowater ISD.
The United Family, which operates United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos, and Albertsons Market, has remained committed to supporting the communities it serves, with its roots still in Lubbock after 110 years in business.
