The Central High School Marching Falcon Band in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is gearing up for the upcoming marching band season with a new Band Director, Frederick Baptiste. To help support the student musicians, the band program has launched a hydration drive to collect bottled water and sports drinks like Gatorade and Powerade.
Supporting Local Students
The drive aims to alleviate the burden on students to supply themselves with water during outdoor practices and performances. Donations can be dropped off at the Central High School band room located at 905 15th St, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401, during band camp from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., or when staff is available between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Every donation, large or small, will help support the marching band members as they prepare for another exciting football and competition season. The community is encouraged to contribute to this worthy cause by July 31.
